Terms of Service

To be eligible for Aegis Family membership, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete information during application
• Successfully complete our verification process
• Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy

Aegis Family reserves the right to refuse membership to anyone at our sole discretion.

Upon acceptance and subscription:

• You receive a non-transferable, revocable license to use our services
• Your immediate family members may be added to your family vault at no additional cost
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your chosen plan.

Renewals: Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel at least 7 days before the end of your current billing period.

Refunds: Due to the nature of our services, we generally do not offer refunds for partial periods. However, contact us at [email protected] if you have extenuating circumstances.

Price Changes: We will notify you at least 30 days before any price changes. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of new pricing.

You agree NOT to use Aegis Family to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
• Use the service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
• Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Resell or redistribute our services without authorization

Violations may result in immediate termination of your membership.

All content, features, and functionality of Aegis Family—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the overall design—are owned by Aegis Family Technologies, Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any data you store in your family vault. By using our services, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.

Your privacy is paramount to us. Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using Aegis Family, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

Service Availability: While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our services. Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen circumstances may cause temporary service interruptions.

Third-Party Services: We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party websites or services that may be linked from our platform.

Security: While we implement industry-leading security measures, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

Important: Aegis Family services are tools to enhance your family's digital security. They do not replace your responsibility to practice good security hygiene.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aegis Family Technologies, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services.

Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

By You: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your membership immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we believe your account poses a security risk.

Data Retention: Following termination, we will retain your data for 30 days before permanent deletion, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
